Forsyth Park
Forsyth Park is a 30-acre historic public park in the heart of Savannah, older than both Central Park and Prospect Park in New York. It is famous for its iconic 1858 fountain modeled after the fountains at the Place de la Concorde in Paris. The fountain was restored in 2025. The park hosts festivals, concerts, and a weekly farmer's market. Every St. Patrick's Day, the fountain water is ceremoniously turned green.
