EUR District
EUR (Esposizione Universale Roma) is a district with unique fascist-era rationalist architecture, designed for the 1942 World's Fair that never happened due to WWII. The landmark Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, nicknamed 'Square Colosseum' with its 216 arches, now serves as Fendi headquarters. The area also features an artificial lake, beautiful parks, and several museums. A striking contrast to Rome's ancient center, offering a glimpse into 20th-century Italian architecture and urban planning.
