Eternal Flame

The Eternal Flame is a memorial dedicated to military and civilian victims of World War II, unveiled on April 6, 1946 - the first anniversary of Sarajevos liberation from Nazi occupation. The copper basin shaped like a laurel wreath burns continuously with natural gas. The plaque commemorates joint liberation efforts by Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian brigades.
