Erasmus Bridge
Known as 'The Swan' for its asymmetric white pylon, the Erasmus Bridge is Rotterdam's defining landmark. Opened in 1996, it spans 802 meters across the Maas River connecting north and south Rotterdam. Designed by Ben van Berkel, the 139-meter steel pylon supports both cable-stayed and bascule bridge sections. Illuminated at night, it offers stunning views of the city skyline.
