How to Get There

El Gouna is a resort town 22 km north of Hurghada. From Hurghada Airport by taxi about 30-40 minutes (200-300 EGP) or hotel transfer. Free boats and tuk-tuks run between resort islands. Go Bus from Cairo (5-6 hours). Many hotels offer shuttles to Hurghada for shopping. Bicycles are convenient for getting around El Gouna.
