Edo-Tokyo Museum
Reopening March 31, 2026 after major renovations! The Edo-Tokyo Museum tells the story of Tokyo's transformation from a small fishing village to the world's largest city. The unique building resembles a giant elevated warehouse on stilts and houses life-size replicas of the famous Nihonbashi Bridge, streets, and buildings from both the Edo period and modern times. An interactive experience where you can touch replicas, try on traditional costumes, and even ride in a palanquin. A free 100-day commemorative event celebrates the reopening.
