A 24-acre park and museum honoring the great Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. He lived here from 759-763 AD and wrote over 240 poems. The site features traditional pavilions, temples, and scenic gardens along the Flower Rinsing Creek (Huanhua Xi).

Spring (March-April) when plum blossoms bloom, or autumn for pleasant weather. Early morning is quietest. Allow 2-3 hours for a leisurely visit.

Du Fu (712-770 AD), known as the 'Poet-Sage', was one of the greatest poets in Chinese history. His poetry depicts the suffering of common people and criticism of government corruption. During his time in Chengdu, he wrote some of his most famous works.
