Dome Cathedral - St Mary's Cathedral
Dome Cathedral is the oldest church in Tallinn and mainland Estonia, founded in the 13th century on Toompea hill. The current Lutheran church combines architectural elements from different eras including Gothic and Baroque parts. The 69-meter bell tower offers panoramic views over the entire Old Town but is only accessible in fair weather due to the steep and narrow stairway. The cathedral contains one of the world's most important collections of coats of arms and historical tombstones of prominent figures. Entry is by optional donation of about 2 EUR and the tower costs 5 EUR
