Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is a paradise of pristine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water on the east coast of Nusa Penida. It is named after the pointed diamond-shaped rock formations that protrude from the sand. Access to the beach was previously extremely dangerous, but the construction of a concrete staircase in 2018 made it accessible to visitors. The water is calm and perfect for swimming. The beach sits next to the famous Atuh Beach, and both can be visited with a single ticket. The dramatic cliffs and unique rock formations make it one of the most photogenic spots in all of Indonesia.
