Dhammayangyi Temple
Dhammayangyi Temple is the largest temple in Bagan, built by King Narathu between 1167 and 1170. It is famous for its flawless brickwork where not even a needle can pass between the stones. The inner corridors are mysteriously bricked up, sparking speculation about curses and crimes. King Narathu was assassinated before the temple's completion, adding to its enigmatic aura. The massive pyramid-like structure dominates the Bagan skyline and is visible from virtually any point in the archaeological zone. Visitors can explore the central hall and exterior terraces
