Deichman Bjørvika Library
Deichman Bjørvika Library is Oslo's main public library, opened in 2020 as a dynamic cultural hub and architectural landmark. Located next to the Opera House in the redeveloped Bjørvika waterfront district, it's a striking six-storey glass-wrapped building designed by Atelier Oslo and Lundhagem. The building features a robotic book-sorting system and houses a cinema, open workshops, cafés, and spaces for reading and relaxation. Entry is free for everyone and it's open daily from early morning until evening.
