The Dachstein Mammut Cave complements the ice cave experience but is a completely different world - no ice but massive passages and impressive rock formations. Named not for mammoths found but for its mammoth-like size. With over 70 kilometers of explored passages it is one of Europes largest cave systems. The guided tour lasts one hour and includes impressive light and sound shows. Temperature inside is milder than the ice cave (around 4 degrees Celsius). A perfect combination ticket allows visiting both caves in one day
