Sukko Lake is the only place in Russia where bald cypresses grow in water, creating an enchanting landscape reminiscent of Louisiana bayous. These exotic trees rising from the water surface look especially magical in autumn when their foliage turns copper-red. Visitors can enjoy boat rides and kayaking among the trees, relax on the beach, rent gazebos for picnics with barbecue, or simply walk around the scenic park. The lake is part of the Sukko Valley natural area near Anapa, a popular Black Sea resort.
