Cave of Wonders
The Cave of Wonders is a protected cave system containing over 500 petroglyphs from the ancient Taíno civilization, some dating back thousands of years. The cave extends for 800 meters and is equipped with walkways and lighting for visitors. It features impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations and an underground lake with endemic fish. Guided tours last approximately 90 minutes and explain the indigenous history and geology. The cave maintains a constant cool temperature, providing relief from Caribbean heat.
