Cork City Gaol is a restored 19th-century prison turned museum. It tells poignant stories of prisoners held here, including women and children convicted of minor crimes like stealing food during the Famine. Exhibits include reconstructed cells, wax figures, and the Radio Museum celebrating Irish broadcasting history. The Gothic architecture is hauntingly beautiful.
