Château du Clos Lucé
Clos Lucé was Leonardo da Vinci's final home, where he spent his last three years (1516-1519) at the invitation of King Francis I. The museum displays life-size models of his inventions — from tanks to flying machines — based on his original drawings. The artist's bedroom and workshop are preserved, and a 7-hectare park features giant machines visitors can try. A secret tunnel once connected the castle to Château d'Amboise where he visited his friend the king.
