Christ the Redeemer
Christ the Redeemer is a colossal Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ standing 30 meters tall (98 feet) atop the 700-meter Corcovado mountain overlooking Rio de Janeiro. Completed in 1931, it is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, with arms stretching 28 meters wide. One of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Brazil's most iconic landmark, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of Rio, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Guanabara Bay.
