Chorsu Bazaar
Chorsu Bazaar is the largest and oldest market in Tashkent, operating for over 2,000 years on the Silk Road. The main building is a massive blue dome housing two floors: the first for fresh produce, meat, and dairy, the second for dried fruits and nuts. Around the dome you find sections for clothing, gifts, carpets, and traditional ceramics. You can taste authentic Uzbek dishes like plov, samsa, and shashlik. The market is vibrant and reflects genuine Uzbek culture. Easy metro access via Chorsu station makes it a must-visit destination.
