Chor Minor
Chor Minor is a unique gatehouse with four blue-tiled and domed towers, built in 1807 as the entrance to a now-destroyed madrasah. The name means 'four minarets' in Persian. Each tower has a slightly different dome design, symbolizing according to legend four different religions. The building is small but one of Bukhara's most photographed landmarks due to its unusual design. Inside houses a souvenir shop and you can climb upstairs for close-up views of the towers and vistas of the surrounding neighborhood.
