Metro Line 2 to Zoo Station (动物园站) — exit leads directly to entrance. East Gate 2 entrance is more convenient — closer to Panda House.
Ticket office closes 30 min before closing. Panda House: 9:00-17:00.

Useful tips for visiting Chongqing Zoo
Arrive at opening (8-9 AM)! Pandas are most active in the morning. After 11 AM they usually sleep or hide from heat.
Enter via East Gate 2 — closest to Panda House. This way you'll see pandas first while they're active.
Besides pandas, see golden monkeys, South China tigers, and Asian elephants — all rare species. There's a 'Dinosaur Valley' for kids.
Chongqing is very hot in summer! Bring water, sun umbrella. In winter and autumn pandas are more active all day.
