How to Get There

From Chiang Mai Airport: taxi/Grab 15-20 min (~150-200 THB). From Arcade Bus Station — songthaew/tuk-tuk 30 min (~50-100 THB). Around Old City — walk or bicycle (50 THB/day). Tuk-tuk inside ~30-50 THB. Tha Phae Gate — main entrance.

Useful tips for visiting Chiang Mai Old City

Sunday Walking Street runs 4-11 PM on Ratchadamnoen Road. Most temples cost 20-40 THB. Night Bazaar operates daily on east side. Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang are must-sees.

Rent a bicycle to explore — city is compact and flat. Many hotels offer free bicycles. Grab taxis are convenient for trips outside Old City.
