Château de Villandry
Villandry is famous for its unique gardens — six distinct gardens across three levels: the famous ornamental vegetable garden, rose garden, water garden, herb garden, maze, and sun forest. The gardens were recreated in the early 20th century following Renaissance designs by Joachim Carvallo. The castle itself is the last great Renaissance château built in the Loire Valley, with beautiful interiors and stunning views over the gardens.
