Chamarel Waterfall is the tallest waterfall in Mauritius at 100 meters. Water from Saint Denis and Viande rivers plunges over basaltic cliffs into the rainforest below. The view is spectacular especially during rainy season when water flow is at its peak. Part of Black River Gorges National Park, it offers two viewing platforms for different perspectives.
