São Paulo Cathedral
São Paulo Cathedral (Catedral da Sé) is one of the largest neo-Gothic churches in the world and the city's most important religious landmark. Built between 1913 and 1967, it features twin towers rising 92 meters and a dome inspired by the Florence Cathedral. The cathedral can hold 8,000 people and houses a monumental organ with 12,000 pipes. Located in the heart of the historic center at the famous Praça da Sé, it marks the zero kilometer point for all roads in São Paulo state. The crypt below contains the remains of indigenous chief Tibiriçá and other historical figures.
