Caen Memorial
The Caen Memorial is one of Europe's greatest museums dedicated to peace and the history of the 20th century. It covers from the rise of fascism through WWII to the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall, with particular focus on D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Built above the former German headquarters bunker, the museum offers interactive displays, documentary films, and comprehensive exhibits. Allow 4 hours minimum. The museum also organizes guided tours to D-Day beaches.
