Bulguksa Temple
Bulguksa Temple is one of South Korea's most famous Buddhist temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Built in the 8th century during the Silla Dynasty, it is considered an architectural masterpiece representing the pinnacle of Korean Buddhist art. The temple features famous stone staircases, ancient pagodas, and beautiful wooden buildings surrounded by serene mountain forests. The stone staircases Cheongungyo and Baegungyo are National Treasures symbolizing the bridge between the secular and sacred worlds.
