Brienzer Rothorn
Brienzer Rothorn is a 2,244-meter mountain accessible via a historic steam cogwheel railway from 1892 - the only one in Switzerland operating daily with steam locomotives. The train journey takes one hour through Alpine meadows and forests. From the summit, see 693 peaks on a clear day, including Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Pilatus, and Titlis. A unique experience combining industrial heritage with natural beauty. The oldest locomotives date from 1891.
