The Stari Most diving tradition dates back to 1664, when young locals leaped from 24 meters into the cold Neretva waters to prove their bravery. The Mostari diving club continues this tradition with daily summer shows. Since 2015, the bridge hosts the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series where athletes dive from 27m (men) and 21m (women). In 2025, it marked the ninth time Mostar hosted the event. Brave tourists can join after training with local divers for around 25-50 EUR.
