Bridalveil Fall is one of Yosemite's most recognizable landmarks, plunging 189 meters. It was named for the way wind carries its mist, making it look like a flowing bridal veil. The waterfall flows year-round but is strongest in spring. The short trail to the base (0.8km round trip) is accessible to most visitors.
