Bratislava Castle

Bratislava Castle is the main castle of Bratislava and one of the citys most prominent landmarks, perched on a rocky hill overlooking the Danube River. The distinctive white quadrilateral structure with corner towers dates back to the 9th century but was rebuilt many times. Today it houses the Slovak National Museum Historical Museum with exhibitions on Slovak history from prehistoric times to the present.
