Oslo's Botanical Garden, established in 1814, is Norway's oldest botanical garden and a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The garden houses approximately 1,800 different plant species arranged systematically in a vast arboretum. Highlights include the Viking Garden within a ship-shaped design, the Scent Garden designed for the visually impaired, and historic greenhouses containing exotic tropical plants.
