Botanical Garden
Oslo's Botanical Garden, established in 1814, is Norway's oldest botanical garden and a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The garden houses approximately 1,800 different plant species arranged systematically in a vast arboretum. Highlights include the Viking Garden within a ship-shaped design, the Scent Garden designed for the visually impaired, and historic greenhouses containing exotic tropical plants. Free guided tours are offered every Sunday in summer. Perfect for relaxing after visiting the nearby Munch Museum.
