Borobudur Temple
Borobudur is the world's largest Buddhist temple, built in the 9th century during the Sailendra dynasty. It consists of nine stacked platforms: six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. It contains 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The architecture represents Mahayana Buddhist cosmology, and its walls tell the story of Buddha's life and the journey to enlightenment.
