Useful tips for visiting Beomeosa Temple

From temple you can hike up to Geumjeongsanseong Fortress — 2-3 hours hiking with stunning views. One of Korea's longest fortress walls.

Near temple entrance — street with traditional Korean restaurants. Try sanchae bibimbap (bibimbap with mountain vegetables) — local specialty.

Maintain silence and respect on temple grounds. Don't photograph monks without permission. Remove shoes when entering pavilions.

Buddha's Birthday (April-May lunar calendar) — temple decorated with thousands of lanterns. Beautiful sight but very crowded.
