Beacon Hill Park
Beacon Hill Park is Victoria's oldest and largest park, spanning 75 hectares between downtown and the ocean. It is famous for the world's fourth-tallest totem pole (38.8 meters) carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Mungo Martin in 1956. The park features a children's petting zoo, free-roaming peacocks, ponds with ducks, playgrounds, and Mile Zero marking the start of the Trans-Canada Highway.
