Baphuon
Baphuon is a massive 11th-century temple-mountain located within Angkor Thom, once one of the most impressive structures in the Khmer Empire. Built as the state temple of King Udayadityavarman II, it represents Mount Meru. Known for its distinctive raised causeway stretching 200 meters. It underwent one of the longest restoration projects in history spanning over 50 years. On the western side lies a 70-meter-long reclining Buddha created in the 15th century when the temple was converted to Buddhism.
