Banteay Kdei
Banteay Kdei, meaning 'Citadel of Chambers,' is a Buddhist temple complex built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. Similar in design to Ta Prohm but smaller and less crowded. The temple is enclosed by four concentric walls and adorned with characteristic face towers. The site is peaceful and charming with ancient trees and shaded passages, making it ideal for photography and contemplation away from the crowds. Recent excavations have uncovered over 270 Buddha statues.
