A picturesque alpine lake at 2,265 meters altitude, famous for its stunning reflections of Alpine peaks in crystal-clear waters. This emerald-green lake is an ideal hiking destination, about one hour walk from First station. On calm days, the Schreckhorn and Wetterhorn peaks reflect perfectly on the water surface. The trail is easy and family-friendly, passing through blooming alpine meadows. The hike can be extended to reach Faulhorn peak. Early morning visits offer the best reflection photography opportunities when the water is still.
