Bab Ftouh
Bab Ftouh, meaning Gate of Victory, is one of the most important gates of the old city from the 12th century. Located on the east side, it was the main entrance for caravans arriving from the east. Beside it extends the largest Muslim cemetery in Fes with thousands of white graves on the hills. The area is relatively quiet compared to Bab Bou Jeloud and offers an alternative entry point to the medina.
