Augustinermuseum
Housed in a former Augustinian monastery, the Augustinermuseum is one of the most important museums in southern Germany. It holds a rich collection of religious art from medieval to Baroque periods, including original sculptures and stained glass from Freiburg Minster. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece with its Gothic arches. Exhibits feature works by German artists throughout the centuries with a focus on religious history. The museum is expanding through 2026 to house city and cultural history collections.
