Ateneum Art Museum
Ateneum Art Museum is Finland's national gallery housing the country's largest collection of classical art. Located in a magnificently restored building opposite Helsinki Central Station, it features works from the mid-18th century to the 1960s. The collection includes masterpieces by van Gogh, Cezanne, Munch, and prominent Finnish artists including Akseli Gallen-Kallela and Hugo Simberg. The building itself is a Neo-Renaissance architectural masterpiece from 1887 with sculptures adorning its facade.
