At-Turaif District
At-Turaif District is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first capital of the Saudi state since 1727. Located on the edge of Wadi Hanifa, it showcases outstanding examples of traditional Najdi mud-brick architecture. It houses ruins of royal palaces including Salwa Palace, Bayt al-Mal treasury, and Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Mosque.
