Aristotelous Square
Aristotelous Square is the beating heart and most famous square of Thessaloniki. Designed by French architect Ernest Hebrard after the Great Fire of 1917 in a neo-Byzantine style, the square stretches from the seafront to Egnatia Street. Lined with elegant arcaded buildings housing cafes, restaurants, and luxury hotels, it is the city's main gathering place. In summer it hosts cultural events and festivals. In December it features a unique illuminated ship instead of a Christmas tree, reflecting Thessaloniki's maritime heritage. The perfect spot for a Greek coffee with sea views, people-watching, or simply soaking in the grandeur of this iconic urban space
