World's largest triumphal arch (60m high, 52m wide), built in 1982 to commemorate Korean resistance against Japan. Intentionally 3 meters taller than Paris Arc de Triomphe. Made of 25,500 white granite blocks. Observation platform inside.

Can go up inside for views (ask guide). Great photo spot. Compare size to Paris - they take pride it's bigger. Near Moran Hill park - nice combo visit.
