Useful tips for visiting Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
Arrive before 8am for empty photos - after 9am it's packed. The main path is only 500m - explore side paths too. Combine with Tenryu-ji Temple, Monkey Park, and Togetsukyo Bridge. Rent a bicycle!
