Arambol Sweet Water Lake (Vagkolam) is the only freshwater lake on a beach strip in Goa. Fed by natural hot springs, the water is pleasantly warm for swimming. Hidden behind Kalacha Beach, reached via 2km scenic walk from Arambol.
November to April. Best visited 5-6:30PM for swimming and sunset. 2km walk from Arambol Beach - rocky/uneven path, wear proper shoes. Famous for banyan tree and baba's cave nearby.
