Anse Source d'Argent Beach
Anse Source d'Argent is the world's most photographed beach, famous for its unique giant granite boulders, pinkish-white sand, and shallow turquoise waters. Access is through L'Union Estate (Rs150 entry fee) where you can also see a vanilla plantation, colonial house, and Aldabra giant tortoises. The beach is protected by a coral reef making the water very shallow at low tide - perfect for wading but bring water shoes for coral. Best photography at sunrise and sunset. Multiple small coves offer privacy.
