St. Anne's Column
St. Anne's Column is a 13-meter tall red marble column topped with a statue of the Virgin Mary, erected in 1706. It commemorates the withdrawal of Bavarian troops from Tyrol on July 26, 1703 - the feast day of St. Anne. Standing in the middle of Maria Theresa Street, it provides one of Innsbruck's most iconic views: the Nordkette mountains framed above the Golden Roof.
