The Altos de Chavón Amphitheater is a 5,000-seat Greek-style amphitheater located within the Altos de Chavón village. Inaugurated in 1982 with a concert by Frank Sinatra and Carlos Santana, it has since hosted international stars including Sting, Elton John, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Juan Luis Guerra, and Marc Anthony. Built from local limestone, the theater offers a unique atmosphere for concerts with stunning views of the Chavón River. It remains one of the premier concert venues in the Caribbean.
