Seven waterfalls cascade a total of 83 meters through a stunning rocky gorge beside medieval monastery ruins. The picturesque path through the gorge was opened to the public in 1840 with bridges over each level. The romantic monastery ruins connect to the Saga signposted trail exploring the region's history and legends. Admission and parking are free.
Spring and early summer offer the strongest water flow. The trail requires sturdy footwear due to steep steps. Combine with a visit to the atmospheric monastery ruins.
