Alcázar de Colón
The Alcázar de Colón is the palace built by Diego Columbus, son of explorer Christopher Columbus, between 1510 and 1514. As the oldest viceregal residence in the Americas, it now serves as a museum showcasing colonial art, furniture, and artifacts from the 15th and 16th centuries. The building features stunning Spanish Gothic architecture and overlooks the historic Plaza de España and Ozama River.
